I stayed here with my boyfriend and it was just perfect! We had the pink room with the balcony on front! Unfortunately it was raining during our entire stay, but we enjoyed ourselves! We tried out the restaurant and the pastas were delicious! We are definitely going back, it has beautiful surroundings!

I felt like a princess

Me and my girlfriend visited Otepää for vacation. At first we stayed in Bernhard spa and that was a nightmare - never go there. We went for a walk searching for a diner or restaurant. Visited different local diners, hotels and SPA restaurants and were disappointed for lack of good and interesting menu. I admit that prices were high in those restaurants, but the menu and food quality (after seeing someones order) were very poor. My girlfriend is a chef, so it was easy for us to see what is behind the menu.
After long disappointing day, we agreed to go into local shop and buy bread and milk etc. to eat something. And then I saw Valge Kroon castle alike building. My girlfriend were very sceptical about that place after long day.
First impression after opening the door was - WOW! It is amazing! 
We look around and felt in love in that place. After talking with the owner (Lady) we agreed to cancel our reservation in Bernhard spa and move to the Valge Kroon. Our vacation was saved by humble Valge Kroon and very tasty dishes. My girlfriend felt in "Pink room" (translate from Estonia - Roosa Tuba) like real princess. If you take that room you will understand her ;)
The restaurant price and food quality were in good balance. There are two rooms with balcony, but one of the balconies had poor accessibility. I like total silence at nights, and I discovered that the walls had poor sound isolation. At nights the refrigerator made some noise. Eventually after long days of walking and discovering surroundings we were so tired and felt quickly to sleep, so no noise disturbed anymore.

Best food in Otepää

An adorably small hotel with an extra cozy restaurant. The restaurant prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. Smoked chicken pasta and Salmon was grate. Recomended wine Wino verde aslo grate. The chef waitresss and owner was 3in1 !!!  Recommend to visit this place. 

Nice dinner wih family

Very cozy place, it is small house (it had about 4 rooms) with very nice lobby. Perfect for a romantic evening. At first I was suspicious how good food is served there. But it surprised how well all the dishes tasted. One of the best food I have ever tasted. Word amazing is to little to say about it. But surprises did not end there. Owners (man and his wife/girlfriend) started singing and playing guitar in the lobby. It was amazing stay to sing with them. So if you want to have more romantic and personal touch (and don't want to be in a big hotel) this is a place for you.
