Very warm accommodation. Magnificent room with bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Bottle and microwave available, very convenient. Splendid view of the castle ruins. Owner very available and listening. Very appreciated, it's good advice. We'll be glad to come back!

Very friendly, very pleasant stay

The owner of the rooms welcomes you with a smile. The room is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is even a kettle with tea and coffee. Books are even available in the room. Excellent breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley and a nice view of the ruins of the castle. Regional products can be purchased from the shop inside the establishment! We will return without hesitation....

Excellent hospitality and calm

Savine (and her mother) knows how to welcome her guests. The reception is warm and Savine does everything it takes to make the stay, even a short one, a success. The room is spacious, very clean and functional. Breakfast is served or good it seems to us and it is in a garden as large as it is amazing by the diversity of its flowers, plants, fruit trees,... which we have been served, allowing us to also enjoy a magnificent view of the valley and the ruins of the castle of Coucy.

Knowing to be and knowing to do

Night of 30/05/2019:Excellent reception and very friendly. The owner is available and listening to her guests..The room was neat, clean and well-organized. The breakfast was generous and rich in regional products. Not to mention the splendid view of the castle.

Nice small B&B run by an easy going lady who also runs a shop with local produce like jam and juices. 

My room was basic but nice and clean. There was no TV but free WiFi internet worked well. 

The French style breakfast was ok with some bread and various spreads and some of the local produced jams. From the breakfast area you can have a good view of the landscape behind the building  

The small town of Coucy is nice and has the remains of a huge castle. Otherwise there is not much going on and there are only three restaurants.

Charming B&B with an interesting touch

We had a good accommodation in this establishment. A nice decoration of swans in folded towels, a large room. The dinner, taken as a formula, was original and had a good time. We had a stay through a box, and we were very welcomed. Thank you for this stay.

Nice hotel, nice table, nice location

A simple, quiet, clean room, a minimal lunch in the shop, not very pleasant when customers are around you like bees attracted to jams, a beautiful variety of local produce in this small shop.

It's a nice place, but not friendly.

The accommodation is unpretentious, functional but very well upkept, clean and comfortable. My only reservation was the bath towels which were possibly more suited to exfoliation than drying - perfect to fight cellulite though! Spectacular views and magnificent home made breakfast. We were given a giant baguette each, but it was so deliciously melt in the mouth we could have eaten several more - notwithstanding the array of cold cuts, yoghurts and cheese, coupled with generous portions of innumerable homemade jams. The dinning area sits within a local produce store, so you can purchase from a myriad if local  farm-to-table delicacies, many of which were available to sample at breakfast.  The situation itself being eerily quiet, with majestic sweeping views of the countryside from the village, which is couched within the ruins of a former medieval castle and grounds.  This made for a perfect night's sleep. I stayed there with a friend visiting an international clay shooting tournament in the locale and will definitely come back with my wife and children as I am sure they will love it as much as we did. The owners are very helpful and directed us to a superb local restaurant and hotel in tge village which was offering a menu 'degustation' for the 14th of July celebrations (amazing gastronomic delight, including quail) and when I had to get a breakdown of the receipt a month latter they were really efficient at getting back to me. Whilst we stumbled upon this guest house it proved great value with a very warm welcome and is thus highly recommended.

An idyllic rural gem in the heart of France

A few kilometers from Soissons these guest rooms are clean and quiet and the one where we were has a beautiful view of the ruins of the castle and the countryside - spacious and clear bathroom -

Good address

Very clean and quiet, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast home made jams from the fruit in the garden! The area is beautiful! The family is interesting and adds to the charm, the family cares for the place and is informative. The only draw back is there are only two places in the village to eat and we arrived on a Monday and the Pizza place was closed so we ate in the restaurant, the girl waiting tables was not very friendly! The food was mediocre but you don't have a choice, there was a friendly little bar and Tabac shop near by for beverages!
