This is a small and cosy hotel in an old villa from Prussian times. The hosts are very friendly. The rooms are equipped with antique furniture. It is not one of the faceless hotels you can find anywhere. Breakfast is made to order and, once again, better than a usual hotel breakfast. If you like the area depends on your purpose of travel. Bus connections are good.

Small hotel hotel with cosy atmosphere

I just happened to find this hotel, which is a little out of the way, but very well accessible. The hotel is an ancient villa with the right building material and a walkable garden, as well as very warmly welcoming guests. The breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are, say, of a surprising character. It seems like you're sleeping in a museum, but it's pretty good and tidy. Very good price ratio and with an appealing personal note from the host.

Everything is different and special

We were allowed to spend the Easter days in this wonderful villa. The rooms and ambience are unique, real works of art. Renate is incredibly handsome and offers very warm hospitality. The breakfast is generous and more than enough. Everything was perfect, I can only highly recommend the residence, thank you again for the beautiful days!

Great residence and very loving hospitality

A pearl in a big city. Absolute secret tip. Very lovingly assembled, tasteful, possessive, well-groomed, generous. For comfort and enjoyment. Dreamy delicious breakfast, lovingly arranged. Very good price-performance.

It's dreamy

Fascinating, charming old villa full of art and a hint of magic. Got a nice room, Andalusia suite, facing the front garden and busy road (protected by soundproof windows). Room large but quite dark. Partly due to lack of daylight, partly due to the huge, dark, old furniture (rosewood?) where the armchairs were definitely designed for presentation rather than comfort. On the other hand, decor and furnishing was the charm of the room, like travelling 150 years back to Spanish colonial style. Biggest wardrobe ever seen, huge volume, high to climb. Enormous bed, mattress a bit too soft. Tiny bathroom, not functional due to lack of storage space and flood after shower. But comfortably hot due to towel warmer. 

Renata Roginas is a friendly, hospitable and informative hostess. Many good tips about culture in Berlin and the local area. Very good breakfast prepared by Mr. Roginas and served with personality. 

The area is an old bourgeois neighbourhood, unfortunately dominated by the busy Hindenburgdamm, but only 10 min walk to the romantic and  attractive Lichterfelde West with magical old villas and quiet cobbled streets. Only very few restaurants around but frequent buses connect to U/S Bahnhof Rathaus Steglitz for shopping and eating (7-8 min) and further ahead to Potsdamer Platz/Hbf. 15-20 min walk to Botanical Garden.

Exotic

Ideally located to visit Berlin and its surroundings, with very close public transport, we particularly enjoyed this small hotel with its old charm (5 rooms only and very spacious), decorated with great taste with temporary exhibitions by contemporary artists painters and photographers with its old parquet parks that crack.... and its green backdrop filled with coconuts....proustic atmosphere, not only because we particularly enjoyed the welcome of Nillo (who speaks fluently French) and his unforgettable breakfasts, made with love; every day a different: herbal or omelette-coated coffins, tortillas or blueberries on a toast of smoothies, fresh fruits, ham, confectionery, cards, no money in the house.... we have made a small amount of money in the hotel, and we will be serving it in a little bit.

Five-star hotel in an old Prussian mansion... charm, calm and cheerful...

The hotel is located in an old officer's villa, which has been lovingly modernised without losing its historical charm. Our room was very spacious, clean and quietly located in the garden. The breakfast is excellent and very rich. As a special snack there is a different surprise dish with egg every day. Unfortunately, the hotel is located a little far from the city center, so there is a bus stop almost right in front of the door. Usually double-decker buses come and you can take a city tour right away.

It's a great atmosphere, super host.

We used this B and B as a headquarters for trips around Germany, Poland, and Latvia. Renate, the owner, was so gracious. The breakfasts were wonderful. She stored our bags when we went off on an overnight here and there. She got us reservations at special local restaurants. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us when we returned from a short trip to Krakow. We stayed for a total of 8 nights. 
While the location is a ways from Berlin Mitte, buses were a few steps away, and the lack of tourists was a plus for us. I would highly recommend Kult Residenz.

Really perfect.

Nice stylish hotel near the Charité. Nice reception on arrival and a great breakfast the next day  with a little surprise every day. The rooms are very authentic and decorated according to the age of the villa. Very romantic, unfortunately my bed cnared in motion, however, in view of the age absolutely acceptable. 😜

Small hotel - sleeping with friends

Anyway, I remembered this movie when I moved to the Africa theme room for two nights. I can't even say if I liked it but it was interesting anyway. I slept well and the attached bathroom was also very nicely decorated with a free-standing bathtub and a large shower. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast overlooking the garden, the breakfast with a lot of choice and the plus of a warm ham and a fresh smoothies.
