A slightly odd experience! The hotel is just a door with a sign on telling you to go to a hotel around the corner. You go to that hotel and check in and then go back to where you started. Room was OK, sofa bed uncomfortable, room as somewhat dated but was OK for the night.

Nothing special- but fine for a night.

Everything was perfect. The location is within easy walking distance of the subway.  it’s within the old town, and we could walk all over central Munich.  We were on the top floor apartment.  It has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink so we saved money on meals.  The owners provide meat, cheese, bread, and juice for our first breakfast.  The place was very clean.  Lots of fluffy towels, soaps, and toiletries were available.  Double armoire for storing clothes. Several windows in each room for natural light.  After five steps in the entry, there was an elevator to each floor. The living area has two couches, a table, and four chairs. Bathroom has a huge jacuzzi. Wonderful visit!

Perfect location!

Very nice and comfortable hotel, close to the centre and easy to reach. It's only a 20-minute walk from Theresenviese where they do the Oktoberfest.

It's in a very quiet area from which you can walk to the center of Munich.The room we were in was quite spacious, the comfortable bed and bathroom were refurbished and clean.

The room is spacious and clean, there is also a freezer bar available (empty) for any drinks or fruits that you want to keep cool. Absolutely exceptional the location, a few minutes from the center and the main attractions: when I return to Munich I will definitely try to book here, especially by virtue of the new / price ratio.

Perfect location and room

It's a good location in the center, reliable Soviet furniture that broke all the legs, very primitive, the price is basically... you can only live if you don't find something fresh or networked.

Very primitive and expensive.

The tanning tree is a bit strange. It is actually a collection of rooms that are maintained by the adjacent hotel. It is conveniently located at the U2 and within walking distance to the train station and the city centre. With fairly affordable prices and clean rooms, I am not bothered by the old-fashioned, ugly furnishings or the winding rooms. If you do not spend time in the hotel room, you will find an acceptable place to sleep in Munich for even a fair visit or a long weekend. Breakfast can be great in the grocery store around the corner.

Simply with good location and price

Large, clean room and an easy walk along a nice shopping street to city centre. Efficient and friendly staff. There is a sidewalk cafe nearby that offers wonderful breakfast options, and a metro station is less that 5 minutes away.

Comfortable, clean and close to center

I can't complain about anything at this hotel except the good location. The toilet flush didn't work, the shower was folded and the tap came with brown water at first. The shower head bracket was then broken from the wall when it went into operation. The hair of the cleaner in the bed was the first thing. The receptionist ignored my complaint the next day without a word of apology.

You have to avoid it!

The hotel was in line with our expectations. Simple but good quality furniture, a very clean room with 2 bedrooms, which allowed us all to be together (2 parents and 4 children aged 7 to 16 years old). The staff were friendly, access to the rooms was secure, but we did not test the breakfast to be taken to the train station (as we were close to the centre, we preferred to taste the local specialties during our walks), where the reception is (just outside the Tannenbaum). The room was very well heated (days 19 to 23 December 2018).
