It's all over the place - plumbing, furniture, walls in the mold toilets, floors are crumbling, they're about to collapse. Cleanup is obviously happening, but it's just like this: garbage has been dumped around the corner and enough. WiFi is like a shopping mall, like 80 people are connected to it, not five rooms.

For one night, if there's no other option.

The rooms themselves are large and appear to be immaculate at first sight(for a hostel at least). However, it turned out to be quite the opposite. Besides the dirty floor and curtains, all of the people who stayed in our room now have bed bugs. This is not only annoying, but also shows that the bed linens are not washed as frequently as they should be. All in all, I would not recommend this hostel.

I visited Riga last week with a couple of classmates and we stayed at Elizabeth’s Youth Hostel. Our first impression already was a bit negative because of the shower which was probably cleaned months ago? Well, it was not clean at all. Moreover, the beds were an absolute disaster. My friend and I saw a bed bug walking over another bed. On top of that, all of my roommates (4 person) were bitten by bed bugs and now, five days later and back in our hometown, we all have itchy red spots all over our arms, hands and back. When was the last time the pillows and blankets were washed??? An absolute shame.....

BED BUGS ALERT!!!

The hostel was very cheap, so there were no special complaints. We arrived at night, but we were left with the accommodation instructions and the key. The room, of course, is very budgetary, but everything is clean and neat. The location is divine, 10 minutes' walk from the bus station, near shops and cafes. The only thing that really upset us was the bad Wi-Fi.

Not bad for one night.

The hostel has left the best impression of itself! Clean, quiet, non-smoking, very friendly host and staff. The settlement was like a quest! The location is fancy! There are no breakfasts in the hostel, there are no tiles in the kitchen, but always hot water, and there is a microwave. The food question was solved by means of Rimi (a shop at the train station) and Lido (a coffee shop at the train station, it cost 6 euros to get a breakfast for two, it still costs 10 euros). The hostel definitely does not suit the fact that it goes to find adventure.

It's a very good hostel!

Very quiet, clean hostel near the train station. It's 10 minutes walk to the centre, everything is accessible on foot. WIFI is free. The hostel is half empty, so you can't meet anyone for a day, it feels like you're living in a separate apartment. The administrators are polite, only come to the settlement, and so no one is there. The bed is clean, towels too, 4 toilets, 4 showers, a shovel is enough. Everything is clean, soap is available. There's not just a tile in the kitchen, but there's a microwave.

It's cheap, clean, quiet.

The bedroom is dirty, shredded, dusted on all the surfaces, the window is completely silent, the floor is hairy, there is no cover on the beds, the two-story bed is all walkable, the planks on the second floor are broken, even under 7 years old children are all walkable. The general impression of the living room, kitchen, corridors is dirty, the whole environment is like moss dirtying the toilets, the bathrooms are relatively clean.

Especially the attitude of the owners to their business.

After booking two nights initially, we moved to the hostel after the first night. The room had come down, full of the previous one's hair and very loud. A heat that could not be turned off did the rest for a relaxed night. Unfortunately, no one was available for checkout either. Hostels yes, Elisabeth Youth Hostel Riga never returned.

Two nights has become one

The room we had was a scary glaucoma... the mattress a black job halfway... a towel to wipe the body to the size of a hand. The bedding is not even mentioned! Also, be careful if you want your luggage we'll tell you there's no worries and then when you come back we'll show you the tiny little sign in the entrance that says it's 5€ per baggage... then after 2pm it's an extra 1€ per baggage and an hour. Finally, scams, 20€ per person for that is really a very bad quality/price ratio. They make money on tourists' files. I strongly discourage.
