This was the key part of my wonderful holidays. The place is literally next to the sea. It is quiet, yet in walking distance to the city center. There is no hustle to park the car next to the hotel. Breakfast is amazing and price and quality ratio is great.

The closest place next to the sea

The apartments really need a good TLC and a good general clean as it is definitely not clean.
In our apartment the velux windows shades were broken (had to cover with towels to black out the sun for our toddler to sleep), clogged up shower with water coming up just as you run the shower, broken door from inside.
Which all of it was mentioned to staff but we were told handyman only works on certain days, but even on the days he was in no one showed up to check.
They do however now have a restaurant for food attached to the complex which serves really decent food, especially their breakfast is great.

Overall really need to step up! Basic things should be addressed ASAP.

Only the proximity to the beach saves it

Hotel in an excellent location for beach holidays, a few minutes walk to the nice beach (Baltic side). The town can be reached in 10-15 minutes by bicycle / half-an-hour walk. Bicycles cannot be rented at the hotel, but rental shops in town (Lagoon side) deliver them free of charge to ORO Nida. 

Very friendly reception staff. Some with very good English, others with no English, but we still managed to communicate.

The room/flat was a bit dark and worn (in particular the sofa bed), but clean. The room/flat had a proper bedroom upstairs and a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen, separated by a glass door from the entrance. The table was very small for four people, making self-catering  a bit of a jigsaw exercise. Balcony was in front of a transformer station, thus not a place to spend a lot of time at. 

ORO Nida has an excellent restaurant that serves the probably best food in town, for a reasonable price. The restaurant’s management changed recently, thus earlier reviews might not apply anymore. 

Next to the beach

If you come here expecting a hotel experience, then you will be disappointed. This is much more of a vacation apartment with little to no amenities. I do not think the restaurant was open (or had very limited hours) but I didn’t think that mattered much as the town of Nida is less than 1 mile.
If you are looking to relax and stay close to the beach, this is a great place. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach; about 10 minutes walk to the area of the beach with chair and umbrella rentals, a snack shop, and the lifeguard station. The rooms seem fairly updated and I found mine to be quite clean. I agree that the room would be best suited for no more than 2 adults +/- a small child.
Cons: limited services, not all staff spoke English

Beachside vacation apartments

The booking for one night was/is already a mistake, more than one night is limited to physical injury. Personnel without foreign language skills, for all topics/problems with a senile grin on their faces. These were: - rooms and towels dirty - supposedly integrated restaurant closed - day overwork with drill hammer - at night room mats in disco hardness in the above floor until 3:00 a.m. The hotel is very remote (and still loud), whoever wants a bit of what is from the island is much better taken care of in the village of Nida.

Miserable

The only good thing, if you want it, is the ideal location on the beach, where you can only take a few steps to get around the corner. That's probably why I chose this hotel. Nida itself is, however, a pretty place, with nice and good restaurants, to which you can walk for half an hour (parking lots are lacking here in the high summer), so that if you don't want to go to frequent beaches, you can also take a better place if you don't want to, especially if the choice of reasonable-looking hotels is better.

Poor choice even near the beach

Stayed here for the first weekend in July and had a lovely time. Rooms are fantastic. Great beds. Location is very idyllic. The staff was so nice and helped us with information about town.
Good vacation in a really good place

Very close to sea. Therefore far from city center.
Restaurant doesn't work, but rooms has a well equipped kitchen. There are few options for lunch ~500m around.
Parking is large and comfortable.
There is kids playground in yard. Kids room is present and is OK.
We had room for 4 pers., 2 was sleeping on a double bed, but others should sleep on couch which was old and very uneven and uncomfortable. 
Rooms are dirty, cleaning is mainly done in middle areas. Corners, edges, under beds are very unclean.
Some staff will not end-up personal call even while talking to customer, but others are  friendly and service-oriented.
It also has strict check-out time policy - you should check pricing in advance.

Good stay for self-catering and closest to sea

Far away from city. No restaurants near hotel. For 4 persons not comfortable rooms, too small and 2 people should sleep on couch...Cleanness not perfect. 
Good things: Free parking, near to the sea, safe environment.
