My husband and I stayed in the Van Gogh room and it is truly the best deal in Amsterdam! The neighborhood is ideal, the room is modern and clean (housekeeping comes to clean it everyday), and Godfrey is an excellent host.  Additionally, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the most charming addition! Please note there is no AC in the room, but that is expected in B&B’s in Europe.  We will definitely stay here again next time in Amsterdam!

Wonderful hospitality

Located in a quiet area a little over a mile from the centre of Amsterdam, this small B&B combines the possibility of sleeping in peace with the opportunity to walk to the centre.

More than one B & B

It's a nice place, both for design and cleaning, as you can see in the photos, in a less touristy but very characteristic neighborhood, excellent breakfast, noisy stairs especially in the morning, because it's made of wood and narrow but this is also part of Amsterdam, not recommended for those carrying heavy weights or heavy suitcases!

Nice atmosphere.

A very nice B&B. The owner is very available and kind. The house, typical of Amsterdam, is really nice and in a very nice area (Jordaan) and close to the center and to a street with very special shops (Haarlemmerstraat). The room is elegant and with all the comforts. If you want you can ask for breakfast that is served in a basket and consumed in the room. For those who have a small child: the room on the first floor is accessible but the stairs are steep and you have to take it on the stroller. We managed to do it quietly.

Comfort and elegance

It is in the Jordaan district, the most typical, least touristy district of the centre of Amsterdam, 10 minutes' walk from Dam Square.Large, well maintained room.Very comfortable bed, large bathroom.Breakfast delivered in room made with very fresh products.Competitive price for the city average.NB. It is in a typical city apartment so it has narrow, steep wooden stairs.Suitable for young people who want to breathe the air of authentic Amsterdam.

The real Amsterdam

I'm currently in the structure my room has the balcony and it's perfectly spacious the huge clean bed cozy shower immense perfect location I strongly recommend staying in this structure.Obviously like most hotels the stairs are just very steep you have to be very careful going up and down

Nice room, modern, very friendly owner, generous breakfast! Recommended for a couple for the quiet and romantic Jordaan, 20/30 minutes from places to visit from Amsterdam.

It's nice.

This review is definitely nuanced because even though this B&B is very good, the noise problem we had gotten a little overwhelmed on our second night. So we spent two nights in this B&B well located in the Jordan neighborhood. The room is well decorated but lacks lighting (the lamps that serve as a bedside lamp don't light up), and breakfast is good. The owners live upstairs and had invited friends to bed on the second night. We couldn't sleep between 1:30 and 3:00 in the morning because of the noise of the guests leaving - unfortunately for us - not all at the same time and seeing that the staircase is wooden, so it was very loud and that they didn't pay any attention to the noise at all. People were making noise, it was obviously impossible to read the advice and we didn't get any chance to sleep again, but we obviously didn't get the chance to get some rest of the time.

All right, but big noise problem on the second night.

Charming bed and breakfast located in the best neighbourhood of the city (Jordan) and offering a good quality price ratio (in view of the price of the hotels in the city). The decor is great from the entrance to the building (superb narrow staircase) to the bathroom - in the image of the city! The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is also top. The breakfast is simple, good and healthy with just as it owes the juice of pressed oranges. Nespresso machine and tea kettle available. We were in the room, the only small ball is that it is located above a small restaurant in which a group obviously celebrated a good part of the city. If you can get out of the room, you can not be surprised by the details of the living room.

Very pleasant.

A very nice Bed and Breakfast, nice room, clear and quiet, Vermeer entirely on the courtyard. Very reasonable price for such a quality. The room is located 15 minutes' walk from the train station, you can discover everything by walking down the canals. Dennis is charming, very good advice, he knows the shops and interesting restaurants off the beaten path. Breakfast is fantastic, served in the room, cozy and delicious. We spent four wonderful days.
