This B & no B felt more like staying in a local apartment or AirBnB. It was quiet, discreet, neighborhoody, and spacious. We had the garden room, so had a small outside area, and the room was large, clean, modern, great wifi, coffee machine, courtesy bottle of wine and water and great bathroom. Comfortable bed and fantastic location to old town and 9 Streets. Bit pricey but worth it and a delightful stay. Had a hiccup checking in, as the codes they provided did not work and we had to call and get it sorted, so that was not a great start, but it was sorted right away.

Delightful stay

We enjoyed our stay here was very clean and spacious and as it is not a hotel it is very quiet. There were some nice touches in the room and had a good stay. The only negative was that from the outside you would not know where it was it was only for the fact we asked for early checkin that they sent us all of the information we needed as you need a code to get in the property also you cannot leave your bags here so have to wait until 3 when you check in. There is an ulternative hotel you can leave them but it is not very close by.

Good stay

We booked a room almost last minute , in the middle of the city in an old house at the canal, Herengracht.Perfect bed and large bath even the little things as a toothbrush, shaving set, and coffee and tea machine, water wine and a small fridge, are there.I for sure will come back next time! If i had could left my suitcase there for the afternoon to pick it up later it would be fantastic that is the only small minus but that's really the only thing i  give a 10 plus.So next time i will go again.Breakfast is just around the corner at the Beagel shop for 10 euro.

just perfect!

With this review I am referring to the Camera Canal View with the living room overlooking the canal. The room is not studied in the best way since the bathroom is in the middle between the room and the living room, so it acts as a hallway. To make from one room to another you always have to go through the bathroom. We always found everything very clean, with towels always changed and Bagnoschiuma / bathroom accessories refilled. The point is very convenient, 5 minutes from Dam Square and a little less from the house of Anna Frank.

Stayed here on our first night in Amsterdam before we headed towards the centre and tourist part . I wish we stayed here for the full time we were here . The room itself felt like home the shower was amazing , The bed was so comfy the only issue was the bedroom door was soo creeky . The air con was the best part as it was 27 degrees . My gf loved the thubgs that was left including tea wine and iron to use . The only thibg was there was only 1 towel we found be we had our own . If we plan to visit Amsterdam again we would book this hotel . 10 minutes walk from the centre and air con in the summer . Shower and  bed  Canal view was amazing also Thank you

Felt like home

Really loved the room (garden view)! Felt like we are in our own home. Short walk to all of the shops and attractions but still in its own peaceful neighborhood. Just wow.

The only thing we didn't like was the loud neighbor upstairs. It wasn't even weekend and 2 out of 4 nights we heard loud music, laughter & steps upstairs. And the music really was loud! Felt like we were partying with them.

All in all: Would definitely recommend but take the earplugs with you just in case.

Lovely place

The location of this room is phenomenal. In the heart of the canal district and near charming shops,cafes, restaurants and bars. The Canal View room is actually a front parlor, walk-through modern and clean bathroom and bedroom in the back, barely big enough for a very comfy king bed. It’s clean and comfortable but needs some TLC. It’s called “canal view” but the blinds wouldn’t work so no view at all. We called the management and the repair guy opened it about half a meter (1-2 feet) but it wouldn’t close or open further so no privacy and no full great view. After 2 additional communications we heard the blinds 
just couldn’t be fixed (really? No one in all of Amsterdam knows how to repair blinds?) Our view also was obstructed by 2 big dumpsters in front of the canal until the last morning. Other TLC needed was the main light switch was broken and the bathroom door hinge squeaked loudly enough to wake the dead. A little WD40 please? But overall, these quirks didn’t ruin our stay and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Nice location & Room, But TLC Needed

I cant believe theres not more reviews about this wonderful apartment.
What a find! The apartment is situated on a gorgeous canal which is fairly quiet. The room itself is spacious with tasteful decor. Huge high ceilings and a light airy window looking on to the canal.
The bathroom was the best equiped bathroom I've used in a long while, with great free toiletries along side basics you may need like a sewing kit, nail file etc. We think there might have been underfloor heating, but even if there wasnt the bathroom was lovely and cosy which was great as we visited in February and it was freezing outside!
The whole apartment actually was cosy and comfortable (the bed was huge and soooo comfy!) and the free wine was a really nice touch.
Everything about this place has been really well thought out.
I loved that we had our own unique code for entering the building and while we had some teething problems, the staff at the hotel were SUPER helpful and also spoke perfect english! 

The apartment it well situated for getting around and close to Dam Square and Anne Franks house.
Theres plenty of places near by for food and drink and we discovered a lovely bagel place across the canal to the right.

We loved it so much that we have booked already for next January except we have the garden view this time and our friends will stay in the canal view.

Beautiful Apartment

I come to Amsterdam every year for work, and I must say that in many years of hotels, this is definitely the best option I have ever chosen.

Best place to stay in Amsterdam!

Our judgment refers to the Canal view room on the upper floor and certainly the other rooms will have different peculiarities, but an apartment, however pretty, so poorly designed you rarely encounter it; it develops in length for a dozen meters and not more than two and a half meters wide: as soon as you enter we find a nice well-furnished living room and the window that goes to the street and the canal. On the left a large and heavy basement door or at least 3 meters high enters the bathroom, even this fully equipped, modern and stylish. On the left so far a heavy and low gate from the area where you enter the bedroom... or the second floor, available on the bed, because the room is so small and soft that I can still sleep on the floor and so as long as you need to stay in the room and so far as you can get to the bathroom.
