First I want to mention that the space is nice and the staff is lovely and the owner is flexible.   however,  The advertising on this property is misleading.  It should read that the Loft apartment is located on the second and third floor of the building.  The living room located on the second floor and the bedroom and bathroom located in the attic of the third floor connected by a private stair case.    The single room apartment is located on the first floor of the house.

In the heart of the relight district, but still a nice place to stay and quiet.

Had a 20 hour layover in Amsterdam. Wanted a low-cost place to stay near the center of the canal district. This place worked great. Good value. Great location. Easy walk from central station. Welcoming host. The building is amazing. It is on a canal. But not the most scenic canal. The room is very basic. Bring your own soap and shampoo. But fills the bill for anyone wanting a convenient, low-cost place for an overnight. 

Perfect for a long layover 

We stayed in the black and white room and enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy has a small fridge, coffee machine, some where to hang your clothes, hair dryer, toilet with a wet room shower, tv and 2 chairs with a table and a large cabinet and mirror. 

We requested a kettle which was brought to us straight away and also is was very warm when we stayed so they got an air con unit for us aswell the lady who was in charge of the B&B was very helpful. 

It is in a great location breakfast is supplied in a aluminium hamper, and there is small patio area if you are a smoker.

You can leave your luggage in the house and pick up later if you have a later flight. 



Great location 

Our stay here was lovely, we were in the back room with the large wall painting, it was spacious and clean. It was a very chilled atmosphere we were able to leave our luggage before check in and after check out, ideal for enjoying full days without lugging bags around. Location is perfect, walking distance from train station and really close to tourist activity. Our stay was over new year so we anticipated it being very loud yet in our room you couldn't hear a thing perfect considering how central it is. Very comfy bed, with a mini fridge in the room. Perfect place to welcome in the new year. One possible area of improvement is breakfast, delivered in a beautiful box yet not much variety day to day.

Excellent location, so close to everything. 5 min walk to dam square. Very cosy room with an attached bathroom. VERY clean and comfortable.

OUTSTANDING!!!

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for 3 days and 2 nights. It is a classic Dutch house, tall and narrow, with several rooms; the one we were in faced to the inner courtyard, where you can smoke. It is not an extremely large room, but still comfortable, with a large window and a breakfast area. The latter is served directly in the room, in fact, in the evening around 10:30, a basket containing bread, marmalades, nut cream, butter and fruit is left outside the door. The owners are two very kind guys, we met Joostli, who helped us both before and during our stay, and also tried to use a very English to help us explain the operation of the equipment in the room.

We stayed for three days in a couple. We took the apartment. The fantastic location, the small but very well-kept house, carefully maintained and clean. Everything is perfect. When I return I will definitely look for this solution again.

Good accommodation

The location of the apartment is state-of-the-art. The facilities are in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the stay was significantly tarnished by a nightly visit of a mouse. For this reason, I would not recommend this accommodation.

Accommodation with night visits!

I just got back from Amsterdam yesterday. The b&b is right in the red-light district of Amsterdam, practically in the center. We were great in this B&B. We had the White Room overlooking the canal, too romantic. We were greeted by Dennis, very nice and available. Every day we were changing towels and every morning we found a tin can with breakfast, not so abundant, in particular, but still with bread, jam and fresh fruit. If I had to return to Amsterdam soon (hopefully) I would definitely return to this b&b.

Great solution in the centre of Amsterdam

My boyfriend and I stayed in this fabulous beb in the Red Light district during the New Year. It's a typical Dutch house, even though the room they assigned us was very large. Every morning we cleaned and changed the towels. Breakfast is served in a basket that is left early in the morning outside the door and contains various sandwiches and confections and fresh fruit. I expected something more from the latter to be honest. They were all very kind and available without ever being intrusive. Last year we were also given a bottle of champagne and typical Dutch sweets! A very beautiful gesture that we really appreciated. We will definitely be back in this drink next year.
