We stayed here for 3 nights. Fab location, walk 2 min to tram which takes around 10 mins to centre. Beds are comfy. Check in and out easy from a hotel around 10 mins away even stored our bags on last day.
We had the one bedroom suite for 4 of us with ample space and its clean.
Could it do with spruce up and stairs are steep, but if its just somewhere to sleep you want its more than adequate. Very quiet area and we didnt hear any noise from other guests.

Platage studio apartments

I have to say that if a price of €450.00 per night is asked for, you also have requirements that are met here in the smallest detail. The apartment was so worn out that cooking dirty dishes from the pots and pans, let alone eating dirty dishes from the pots and pans, let alone, what an impertinence. Everything battered.

Right royal smoke up

We stayed in the iris penthouse apartment sleeping 6 of us. The apartment was spacious and clean. After reading previous reviews on here this was a concern before arriving. But we were all very impressed by the apartment. The apartment had cooking facilities, a fridge, cooking utensils etc. The location of the apartment was in walking distance to pretty much everything. There were shops at the end of the street. We didn’t need a tram to get to anything. We walked to the Heineken tour, I’ve bar, red light district and dam square. I would definitely stay here again! When checking In you had to go to another hotel to get the keys but it was a 5 minute walk. We were able to leave our luggage here before we could retrieve the keys and leave our bags here after our check out time. 

Iris Penthouse apartment 

Just returned from a 3 day stay in the beautiful Amsterdam, stayed in the Plantage apartment suites, they are very quirky in style, our apartment was for people but if s tight squeeze but we managed as your really only there to wash and sleep. Very well maintained and clean, comfortable beds after a long days walking so great night sleep. Only one complaint really was whoever the previous people there was food and half empty cartons of drink left in fridge which really the cleaners should have cleaned out so the half opened fruit left a bit of a smell, apart from that great stay.

Girls trip

We spent three nights in the “Violet” apartment, which is actually a tiny house, with one room upstairs and one downstairs. Really rather cute. Beware - the spiral staircase is high and quite steep. 

Pros: the location. Plantage is an interesting part of town, quiet and tree-lined and particularly good for the Portuguese synagogue and the Jewish museum. Rembrandtplein is perhaps 15 mins walk, the old town a bit further. For the museums quarter you will want to take a tram. 

There is a good but expensive Spar supermarket 6 or 7 mins walk away; Lidl is a bit further. 

Oh, and despite what has been written it was very clean. 

Cons: it may be a house, but it is tiny, particularly the bedroom (double bed up against the wall). There is no clothes storage apart from a few hangers. The shower room leads off the bedroom and the light switches on automatically when you open the door. It then stays on for 20 mins at least, with no override. Not great in the middle of the night. 

Check in at the Allure hotel works OK, but it is at least 45 mins to walk (with bags) from Centraal Station (but there is always the Metro). If your apartment is not ready when you arrive then you can leave your bags at the hotel; there is a good tram route from there to the museums quarter, if you want to try that out whilst you’re waiting. 

Overall - yes it does the job, and it’s probably OK by Amsterdam standards. 

Does the job

We stayed here a group of friends in their 20s!

We loved this apartment, it was clean and modern, the beds were so comfy and the living space was much bigger than expected! The kitchen had everything you need and the bathroom was perfect with a lovely shower. 

Check in wasn't at the actual property but only a five minute walk around the corner, the stairs in the property were VERY steep! We stayed in the penthouse apartment and the noise really travels, in turn, we had a noise complaint as you have to be quiet after 10pm.

Location was fine, a little bit of a stroll into the centre but we had lovely weather so wasn't a problem. The property is right next to the botanical gardens and the zoo!

Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect apartment for a couple of nights!

Stayed here for 3 nights/4 days as a group of 4... upon check in we had to go to hotel allure to collect keys which was a 10 min walk from the apartments. When we got to the apartments the external layout was strange, like a American motel courtyard. Once we got in we realised the living area was tiny which wasn’t great but upstairs was a better size.. there was one double bed on the one side and 2 singles on the other. The walls were dirty and the place majorly needed a lick of paint but the beds were clean and the bathroom was great so it’s not as bad as people have made out. We had quite a modern apartment so not sure how many others were like ours. It’s not in an amazing location depending on where you want to go/what you want to do but it was fine for walking. The apartments don’t get cleaned or anything until you leave so towels/toilet rolls etc have to be requested from staff (who don’t wear a uniform or badge so they’re not easy to spot). I wouldn’t return here but it was ok for the purpose of our stay. 

Only good thing about this was the location. Easy to get by foot to points of interest in town.
The apartment is small with dirty walls and rooms, we had no light in the toilet. 
MOLD everywhere ( on the bathroom courtains, near the toilet, near the windows )
Windows where full of dirt.
Room with 2 twin beds was very small.
Apartment is suitable for 4 people... no way 6 people can stay there.

good for men/boys party - NOT for couples

Good location, cute living area. Polite reception staff at check-in.
 · Overpriced for what was on offer. The property looks nicer in the website pictures, but in reality it needs a lick of paint and general refreshing . Basic bathroom. We had noisy neighbours and the walls are very thin, therefore you could hear all the noise late at night. There is also a building site next door, so it was also noisy in the morning. For the money we paid we could have found a nicer hotel with breakfast included.
