Unfriendly reception, in the double room the bed was 140x200 m (no indication when booking), only a blanket (have ordered a second ceiling), WiFi didn't work in the room at all (was reported, nothing happened), the water in the pool was very cold (because of the pool the hotel was chosen), but that didn't go away, no soap dispenser in the bathroom, just a small piece of soap, which then slipped on the sink and on, the room wasn't cleaned all the time, every morning the same breakfast. And for the smokers: on the entire hotel facility, smoking is prohibited, even on the balcony.

Not satisfied!

We chose the hotel because of the location and Mielno because of the location of the hotel. But: both exceeded expectations (admittedly: we only knew Mielno from a icy beach walk in December and the hotel didn't exist yet). That not only was the sea view from the rooms and terrace fantastic, but also the room and  to mention very especially  the endlessly patient, friendly service in the dining room under Corona pressure (and quite poorly trained guests delivered)  made the holiday week something special despite bad weather.

That was great!

The new hotel is located directly on the beach with an unrestricted view of the sea. The room was of decent size, was Scandinavian cool and functional. The bathroom with a large flat shower is in vain looking for care products and cosmetics. The W-Lan unfortunately did not work. The secure parking or underground garage costs about 7.- €. The breakfast buffet was fine, no more. At times it is very crowded and noisy in the small restaurant. The seasonal service staff is partly overcrowded and is very busy with the Eastern European occupants of the past. There is a small water reservoir with seating and sleeping facilities.

Perfect location on the main beach

We were at the Baltivia Sea Resort for a week at the beginning of July. The whole hotel is new and modern, and it has an excellent location right on the promenade of the beach in Milan. The view from our room with direct sea view was very nice. The room cleaning, however, has potential for improvement. Overall, the rooms are clean, but during our stay the cleaning was only partial. Many times the bed and/or bathroom were only briefly taken care of. Twice we had the towels on the floor for a change, both times we had to contact the cleaning staff or the reception to get a very new one. The food was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were of very good quality, modern and fresh. Also, the hotel has a new swimming pool, a small bathroom and a spa with a good bathtub, so everything was very nice.

You should not be confused by different photos and names. Guesthouse Baltivia has earlier situated on the same place and has been replaced by a brand new 4 stars Spa Hotel Baltivia Sea Resort, which opened in summer 2018. This hotel must be one the best if not the best option in Mielno, with excellent location by the sea, small private beach area, spacious and stylish rooms with comfy beds, fast free Wi-fi, good AC. Excellent breakfast with lots of different choices. If you are looking for luxury in Mielno, this is your place. We cannot imagine any other option in Mielno, if we some day will return, as I hope we do.

Nice small resort situated directly near the sea, some rooms with sea view.
Really nice reception staff, we were welcomed at 20.30 with a warm „good morning!“. 
There is no shampoo or conditioner in the room, so if you plan to take a shower during your stay, you should bring it on your own or just use fresh water. Beds are quite comfortable for sleeping, but the ceiling height is a bit low for jumping on them.
We booked an economy room, it was quite small but OK, we had half sea view (even from the toilet!), There are many restaurants in the surrounding area with a wide offer of good fish dishes. The breakfast served at the hotel includes special hang over killers like „Sauerer Hering“; very helpful after long dancing nights!
As i mentioned, the economy rooms are quite small, so there is not enough space for extreme dancing; if you plan to do so, please book a standard room. But all in one, a completely satisfying holiday trip, we will definitly see us next year again!

Nice stay near the sea!

Ideal location, just a few meters from the Baltic Sea. Lots of stairs to go through before reaching the bedroom. Comfortable room with boilerplate, balcony. Nothing separates us from the beach. Unexpected breakfast in a canteen-like room. Few smiling staff.
