There's a hostel on the fifth floor, there's no elevator, and the first impression was normal, at least 15 minutes to the center. The bed was dirty, there was a lot of foreign hair on the pillow, the bathroom was dirty, the furniture was all dirty.

It's dirty, the Russian customers aren't happy here.

The hostel is located on a hill, so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea from the windows! :) The sea is nearby. I would especially like to highlight a Deluxe room with terrace and sea view. The overall impression is 5+. The owners hosted this grandfather and grandson, they are a wonderful tandem! Very open, sweet and fun. This hostel is a place with a special atmosphere, where you definitely want to return to. If you arrive in Sopot, you will stay at Hostel George - it is definitely a good start to your journey!;)

The hostel owner's great!

Hostel George is a superb family hostel near the sea and the city centre. When you arrive, you are greeted with a friendly welcome and feel at home. The hostel is modern, clean and has a nice, large room for a hostel. :) It is definitely worth a visit!

This hostel is run by a sweet old man named George. 

He is very chill and very friendly. My Polish friend and I stayed here just one night. It's not a typical hostel with a lot of common space or people hanging out. If you are traveling alone, I would not stay here if you are looking for company. Also it seemed like mostly older guests stay here, which is nice because it was very quiet :)

The room was clean and neat. There is not always someone there but George gave us his number in case of emergencies. There are only two toilets and two showers but there was never a line. 

It is close to the bus 122 that takes you to the Gdansk airport quickly.

Overall we had a great stay!

Clean, close to center, sea, and train station 

Price and quality. Location - near the sea, near the pier, car park right under the window (free of charge!), quiet area, close to houses- shops and coffee.

Resting by the sea

The hotel is located on the highway and as a function of overnight with breakfast it performed 100% in the rooms clean, cozy, overall good!! Breakfast is delicious, dining room for breakfast is modern, neat, clean. Everything is aesthetic. There is an exit to the inner courtyard where there is green lawn and balconies. Parking. The problem was only with the chiped key, it was changed every evening and every morning 4.

It's a very good hotel.

The house is very nice, the owner speaks Polish and English, no problem. We were allowed to settle in early.

Great weekend at the beach.

It's great to know that a business is independent and family run. Even better when the family are there running the place and chatting with you. 
Great rooms, wonderful view, good location. 
They also offer the best price around on double/twin rooms. 
Not perfect if you want to cook, there's no oven or hotplates. But, there's plenty of places to eat in town.

Family atmosphere 

I visited the hostel George from 02.01.16 till 09.01.16. I like that our room was in the attick. There are a lot of windows you can see sun, moon, sky and see through. Every morning my son wakes me up and look at the window. The hostel is very cozy. It is on the top floor and there is no lift, so prepare for exersises;) The kitchenet is clean, because everyone is clean after himsemself. The owner is a very friendly guy. He gave us all important information and recommended the best places to visit. It was cold in the room when we came, but the owner suplied heater for us. He even brought the night light from his home for us:)

Trip in Sopot

Cheap and clean. Nice place if you want to spend all time outdoors. Steep stairs (4th floor) may give you hard time walking up. Bathrooms are outside accessible for every visitor, not all rooms have TV. Nice view if weather is friendly.
