Kalinin Hostel is located in a quiet courtyard in the very center of Tver. Within walking distance is the Trekhsvyatskaya pedestrian street, cafes, bars and shops. It's a pretty good location, it's close by, and I picked it because of that in the beginning. It's pretty clean in the room, there's everything - chairs, beds, lights, tubs, hangers. It's clean and cleaned after every guest (she lived for a few days, heard a cleaner come before every settlement - cleaning, ventilation) and she doesn't have any complaints - everything was clean.

We have a central heating system, in December we had an abnormal cold for several days, the air temperature dropped to -32, which is 17 degrees below the climate norm for our region. For a few days it was 20 degrees in the rooms, but it came back to normal quite quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to influence the weather and the city administration. With extra blankets, we have no problems, we really have a lot of blankets. When choosing a hostel, it is assumed that the shower and toilet will be separate from the room.
