Two unbearable days, a family in the next room with a child I think they live there permanently, from 7:00 a.m. everyone screaming, a child banging all the time, crying, constantly running down the hallways, closing and opening doors knocking...a real horror for two days, with no one paying attention.

A children's playground of terror

Everything is very good. Very clean and the girl is lovely. The area is not bad. And you can park without the blue zone. It is about 15 minutes' walk from the center... the room with bathroom and two very good beds. 37€ hab. double with bathroom.

Very highly recommended.

This was my rest day on the Primitivo - 2 nights at Lucus. The room was bright, clean, tidy and a very reasonable price. Maria the host is absolutely exceptional. She organised a room for a friend who arrived in town late, and helped me arrange my accomodation for the rest of my journey by calling albergues, as my Spanish is not that good. I cannot speak highly enough of her 😊

Fantastic!

We were in a room that wasn't big but nice, for a nice night, with bunk beds and everything super super clean had different pillows. The bathroom was outside the room, but for the four of us it was just for us the other two rooms that were in our restroom shared another bathroom. The kindness of the girl who carries it is called Ana.. the most charming thing you can find, caring, sweet, The hostel is very well located, there is no problem parking and there are Tele cafés nearby and a pizza.

Genius is a genius.

We'd been walking the camino for a few weeks and needed a rest. This was a perfect place. Clean, quiet, inexpensive, simple with a great location. The historic center is only 5-7 minutes walk. Very close to a laundromat (150 meters). It is located in an apartment building and feels like your own personal rooms. There is no lobby, common area, laundry, so you don't know your neighbors very well.

Perfect for Pilgrims

The hostel is close to the city centre and the bus station, the area is very quiet, the room was in perfect condition, it was spacious, with everything very neat, the treatment very pleasant, absolutely recommended.

Very comfortable stay.

A good place to stay in Lugo, not very luxurious but the price quality is very good.. good location and very clean.. very advisable.

 The Camino de Santiago

I stayed in Lugo for three days on my Jacob's Way and chose Lucus and I don't regret it. The situation is not in the historic city center, but this one can be reached on foot. So no problem. The room was absolutely quietly affordable for my conditions and for that very modern, clean and very well and conveniently furnished. Maria Jose received me and her service was just great. She provided me with the right tips for great restaurants nearby and helped me in a crisis. My backpack is broken. In the tourism information, they rejected me quite a bit, but they turned me around and referred me to an iron shop nearby. There you can find Jose Jose Maria with 2 euros. This is a good service and thanks for solving this problem with Maria Lucus.

Great room and unique personal service

We felt like we gained a mom for two nights! Maria Jose took the elevator down to retrieve us, upon our nighttime arrival from the bus station. And let us stay an extra night. So awesome. AMAZING customer service. I just wanted to put her in my pocket and take her with us! The only downside of our particular room was the noise from the street. But we are traveling with earplugs and lucked out. I liked the location. Go to Cafe Lamela! Take a left out the door and take an immediate right to go uphill. On the way to the one on the map called "Tabu". Cafe Lamela will be on your right. Gluten free toast! Amazing sangria!!

Hostal LVCVS was awesome. Maria Jose, amazing! 

Hostal Lucus seems to be a newer hostal that was converted from an apartment that was nice for my overnight stay in Lugo. Because it is in an apartment building, there is no large sign, so it took careful attention to find it. But one inside, it was welcoming, very clean and comfortable. There is no reception desk, but I was given keys to the front doors (building and apartment) along with my room key so coming in late was not an issue.

I had a room with large windows similar to the hostal's photos. Bright and sunny during the day, it was a slight hassle at night to lower the roller shade for darkness. I had booked a room with private bath, but found that the private bath was reached by going down the hallway, and not a direct connection to the room. The room seemed very quiet during my stay.

The location is a bit out of the center. About a 20 minute walk from the train station and under 10 minutes to the city walls.
