Not clean. At least well located. Friendly staff but the quality and service was not the quality of a 4 star hotel. Scandalous and overpriced.

Well placed close to attractions and yet very quiet. Excellent staff and service. Very clean. Outstanding breakfast with an amazing choice for all tastes.

Awesome place in Madrid's downtown

Beautiful building in a great location. Breakfast was great. The rooftop bar is a spectacular view with very friendly and helpful staff. Heaters on the rooftop would make it even more enjoyable on cooler nights. Our room was spacious and we had beautiful views of the city. The bathroom was needing a little maintenance and updating but the space and bathtub were great!! Would be great if the hotel would add USB ports bedside!

The hotel situation is perfect, right in the Gran Via and close to all the action. The decoration is nice and modern.
Superb breakfast with a lot of different of fresh options.

The rooftop terrace is really nice to spend a few hours having a drink with great views.

I really liked the small welcome pack (a beer and some snacks) they left of the room when doing the check in.

My only complaints are small ones. For instance, even though the cleanliness of the room was really good, I noticed a few mold spots in the shower (granted those are hard to remove, but they always leave a bad impression). Also a few items were broken or about (the bidet was leaking water and the hairdryer back cover was loose, falling all the time when trying to use it). 

One thing that was quite disappointing was that the lounge bar was closed, which was not mentioned in the website. This was quite disruptive as one of the reasons of my booking was that I thought I had that space to sit with my laptop and work. Which was not the case and had to look for some other place.



Good hotel with some negatives

I loved everything about this hotel. We had a room on the 9th floor with a great view, the room was comfortable, attractive with a lovely huge bathroom. The lifts and staircase are gorgeous. The Rooftop bar on 10th floor was spotless and prices or food and drink were great. Fabulous breakfast, pay in advance in reception for only €13 a day. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location. Plaza España 3 minutes walk away. The Tourist buses can be caught outside Gran Via 54. Taxis are easy to flag down from outside and cheap.

A nice spot for afternoon drinks and light bites. The sangria was good, the food not great. We had nachos, maybe a bad choice. 
The rooftop bar isn’t clearly marked from the street. Take the lift in the hotel to the 10th floor. 
Good views and nice seating. Good service.

Nice afternoon drink spot

I loved my 2 night stay at this hotel. It’s centrally located in Madrid with easy access to all the main attractions, shopping and restaurants. It’s on the very busy Gran Via but once you’re inside it’s like walking into tranquility and relaxation. This hotel is just wonderful! My room was so cute, cozy and peaceful. The decor is so neat and the architecture is stunning.

Perfect Hotel

Excellent location, clean room but very small room.
Even though the hotel is on a busy street the room is sound proof.
Good breakfast.
Stayed for 5 nights and could not figure how to work the lights . Or all on or all off.
No directions at All on hotel facilities in any other language but Spanish
Reception desk could be friendlier and more  helpful 
All in all a good stay, close to everything and very convenient for transportation , eating options and shopping
