We were on vacation in August and passed this small town with a gift card of a smartbox that we had acquired. Amazing people and good hosts. They were totally transparent with us in everything we asked. You can see that those who have a smartbox are not the best option for them because they almost never sell them, but they still looked after us like kings. If I had forgotten to leave the review until I came up with the reminder.

The best service is available.

Due to the big windfall we were evacuated to this hostel, we arrived at 23.30 and the brother of the former Athetic Koikili/Cecilio player was amazed and we touched the only wedding bed that remained.

 Evacuation into cabins in the trees.

If you're looking for a hotel in use, you'll be surprised.We were a sports club, in fact, we went to participate in a Campeonato de España de Remo.We couldn't have chosen a better location.To summarize the experience, it's a hotel of the good with family treatment and that makes you feel at home.What's better? 10 rooms, beds and bedding, 11 cleaning and 12 meals.

Spectacular 

We made a one-night stop during our visit to the Basque Country and I recommend it 100%.The owner was very kind and the facilities were unbeatable.They have a relaxing space that we take advantage of to recover strength after a few days of walking and visiting the area.The village is close to the Urkiola Natural Park.If we have the chance, we will return safely.

Our last weekend before the lockdown was spent here and we have a very pleasant memory: accommodation with everything needed and cozy, home-made breakfast and, above all, phenomenal treatment. We feel at home. Thank you for your support!!

Excellently located in a small town and a dream place, Koikili Aterpetxea is an ideal accommodation for families, groups of friends and solo travellers; managed by a family that is hospitable and welcoming.

A wonderful stay.

We felt at home at all times, the dinner was excellent, we had a great rest, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was homemade, exceptional.

We stayed two nights and were treated very well, informing us about the area, things to do and where to eat, the very clean and new site and the excellent treatment, very well situated for sightseeing, if we return to the area we will repeat, thanks to Xabier and family for the treatment you have given us.

A good stay at home.

When one pays for a meal at more than 20 euros per person, one expects at least a cordial treatment and food to be satisfied.In our case we got the opposite; a penny eating since the rations were extremely scarce (I'm talking about a ration for two people that had to be shared between 6 people; ordering another bag of bread and bringing only a bunch...), and also commenting on it to the waiter who was in the east bar turned out to be totally aggressive and threatening.

De pena, salimos with hunger and with very bad roll.

They are not prepared to feed 30 people. They have accepted the reservation and have not been able to manage it. Consequence: Good box, very bad experience for the customer and very bad image for the local. They should appreciate if it compensates them... We have held a family meeting for 30 people with a concerted menu. Rations have been ridiculously scarce, some cases seemed like a joke. The goat seems very rich but also scarce. The 'caseros' posters more of the same, a rice with milk preserved served without any disguise of the bucket of the manufacturer in the bar, the cheese with membrillo in the quantity line, and the professional suckers under the half of the glass, in a nutshell.... To finish, when the threat of sending our two hours away, sir, when he has said he has to apologize, he has acknowledged that he has never been a better person to write a statement, but if he has never been a better person to change his mind, he will never have to change the bar, and if he has ever been a better person to write a statement, he will never have to change the bar.
