The Atlanta Hotel is in a wonderful position, on the front at Eastbourne, overlooking the sea. I stayed there for five nights in September 2023 and enjoyed every minute. My room had all the facilities, on the first floor, that one needs including very modern en-suite shower and toilet room, TV, Internet and tea/coffee facilities etc  My stay included a breakfast each morning and what a breakfast!
The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from the twin centre, bus station and railway station enabling the adventurous traveller to get to Brighton, Bexhill, Hastings and Lewes. It was also a five minute walk to the pier. If I were to revisit Eastbourne, I would have no hesitation in staying at The Atlanta Hotel again. Oh, and the prices were very reasonable. Great place, lovely food and nice people - what's not to like!

Great hotel, lovely breakfast, nice people ...

Just had a weekend at Atlanta guest house, lovely, very clean comfortable and friendly, Yvette and Mark are lovely and Pickle the dog is gorgeous, breakfast excellent, voucher available for reduced parking, ideal location for the town, beach,  harbour, and buses if you wish to visit anywhere else.

Weekend break

We spent last weekend at the Atlanta whilst attending the Eastbourne Airshow. This was our fourth stay and again was brilliant. Yvette and Mark are excellent hosts and always make you feel welcome. We stayed in Room 9 which is a large, clean and comfortable room overlooking the sea with great views. Breakfast was excellent, full English and other choices.  We will definitely return and would not hesitate in recommending the Atlanta.

Another wonderful stay

Mike greeted us and made us feel very welcome.   Six of us stayed recently..  The landlady’s customer service was as changeable as the weather!   Breakfast good & rooms clean. First & last visit and would not therefore recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Atlanta the room was although not big but well laid out with a lovely modern big bathroom . The breakfast was freshly cooked and was lovely . 
Mark and Yvette were great hosts . Fresh milk and ice were always available . Great place to stay and will be going back .

Great stay

Great value, clean and comfy. Very central location on the central sea front. Hearty breakfast served by helpful friendly hosts. We found a free parking place just round the corner. Currently having some work done, so a bit of clatter, but our room was recently refurbished to a lovely standard. The only thing I might change is the pillows, which are a bit solid, but for this price and location that was a detail.

Central, clean and comfy

Pretty average stay , the room we stayed in was compact , very small bathroom but we managed. The couple running the Atlanta are pleasant and helpful with local information . Breakfast was between 8&9, so no chance of a lie in . An old building with plenty of stairs.

Bourne stay

My Wife and I had an absolutely delightful 3 night stay at the Atlanta Guest House.  Mark and Yvette were quite kind and helpful and offered us multiple suggestions on pubs to visit, places to see and transportation.  In addition, they were both so friendly and accommodating - Mark even helped bring one of our far-too-heavy luggage pieces ups the 60 stairs to our room on the top floor (sorry Mark! :-)  ).  The view from our room was spectacular, but be aware that if you choose room numbers 7-9, you do get a lot of stair climbing in (we knew this in advance from their website and communication with Yvette).  The breakfast was fantastic and Yvette was a whirling dervish making sure everyone's needs were met.  It was a bit warm during our stay, but the provided fan in our room helped make it manageable.  The room was spotless, and we found our beds to be quite comfortable and our room was spacious.  The only fly in the ointment was something that No one can control - the weather!  We believe the temperature was abnormally hot, and with Mark cooking delicious hot breakfasts for us all, the ground floor tended to get a bit warm in the morning.

All of these physical niceties were overshadowed by the warm friendship we developed with Mark & Yvette. They are an absolutely delightful couple and we wish we could've stayed for many, many more days!

Delightful stay on the coast

Although we did not manage a room with a sea view we still had an open view across the rooftops and away. Room was clean and ensuite easy to use. Yvette and Mark the hosts were kind, efficient and helpful. Breakfast freshly made was excellent and set us up for the day. Would definitly book again if in the area.

My partner and I stayed at the Atlanta for 3 nights. We were training on thr Seven Sisters that weekend. We had a warm welcome and went to our beautifully decorated room. The breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Mark and Yvette went above a beyond, even offering an ice pack for my blistered feet after our long walk. They were warm and friendly and gave us very helpful information. We felt very welcome and the guesthouse is beautifully decorated on every level. It is extremely good value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Eastbourne. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
